Book 22 page 476 COVENTRY

Know all men by these presents, that where as Charles COLVIN, Oliver Olney COLVIN, & Charles F. COLVIN on the 16th day of may AD 1856 entered unto an agreement whereby the said Charles COLVIN on certain conditions named and particularly specified in a certain deed of that date made and executed by said Charles COLVIN, to his two sons the said Oliver Olney COLVIN and Charles F. COLVIN, which said deed being a gift from the Father to the sons in which said conditions the sons become liable to the Father for support of himself, his wife, and daughters to some extent-reference now had to said deed and a certain bond, which is recorded in the town clerk’s office in said Coventry in Book No. 24 on pages 216, 217, and 218.

Now, therefore in consideration of said agreement and obligations and of one dollar in money to me the said Charles F. COLVIN paid by the said Oliver Olney COLVIN and also to him the said Oliver O. COLVIN assuming and taking upon himself to perform that part of said condition which I the said Charles F. COLVIN are bound and holder to perform. I do hereby remise, release and forever quit claim all the right, title, interest property and claim that I now have or hereafter might or could claim by virtue of said deed or instrument of writing afore referred to.

To have and to hold the same together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereof to him the said Oliver O. COLVIN his heirs and assigns forever.
