Know all men by these presents that I Henry A CRUFF of Coventry in the County of Kent in the state of Rhode Island for and consideration of the sum of three hundred and five dollars to me paid by Arvilla COLVIN wife of Oliver O Colvin of Scituate in the County of Providence and the State aforesaid, the receipt thereof I do hereby acknowledge have remised, releases and forever quit claim and by these presents do remise, release and forever quit claim unto to her the said Arvilla COLVIN her heirs and assigns forever all the right, the interest, property, claims and demand which I purchased on of right, right to have a claim in and to a certain estate situates in the town of Scituate. Bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a stake and stones at the corner of the lane that leads to the Stephen RANDALL place, thence running next twelve rods on the lane that leads to Charles COLVIN house, to a stake and stones; thence Northerly on land of said Charles COLVIN five rods to a stake and stones; thence easterly on land of said Charles COLVIN twelve rods to the Stephen RANDALL lane to a stake and stones, and thence Southerly on said lane five rods to the first mentioned bounds. With a house and barn therein and is the same estate charged to me by Oliver O. COLVIN by his attorney John REMINGTON dated March 24, 1852 containing sixty rods of land.

I have and to hold the same with all the rights, privileges and appurtenances therefore a thereunto appertaining to her the said Arvilla COLVIN her heirs and assigns forever and I the forenamed Henry A. CRUFF for myself and for my heirs, executors and administrators do covenant with the said Arvilla COLVIN her heirs and assigns that I will warrant and defend the afore describes premises to her the said Arvilla COLVIN her heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claim and deceased all person claiming by things or under me.

And I Isabella CRUFF wife of said Henry A CRUFF for the sum aforesaid paid by my husband do by these presents, remise release and forever quit claim all my rights of dower and power of thirds in and to the premises afore describes to her the said Arvilla COLVIN her heirs and assigns forever.

In testimony whereof have hereunto set her hands and seals this twenty fourth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Two/1852/
