DEED SEPT. 29, 1847

Know All men by there Presents that I Charles COLVIN of Scituate in the County of Providence, State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Yeoman in consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars, to me paid by Oliver Olney COLVIN of Coventry in the county of Kent State aforesaid, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have remised, releases and forever quit claimed and do for myself and Heirs , by there presents, remised released and forever quit claim unto the said Oliver Olney COLVIN his heirs, and assigns forever, One certain lot of land in Scituate containing sixty rods, bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake and stones, at the corner lane, that goes to the Stephen RANDELL place, running West twelve rods, on the lane that runs to Charles COLVIN house, to the state and stones, thence Northerly on land of Charles COLVIN, five rods to stake and stones, thence Easterly on land of Charles COLVIN, twelve rods to the Stephen RANDALL lane, to stake and stones, thence Southerly, on said lane, five rods to the first mentioned bound. To have and to hold, the afore mentioned promises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Oliver Olney COLVIN his heirs and assigns forever. So that neither him the said Charles COLVIN nor his heirs or any other person or persons, claiming from or under him or them or in the name right or stand of him or them shall or will, by any way or means have claim or demanded my right or title to the aforesaid premises or this appurtenances or to any part parcel thereof forever.

In witness whereof I, the said Charles COLVIN, have hereunto set, my hand and seal, this twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Seven.
