Deed Pardon BRIGGS to Pardon ABBOTT written June 5, 1789

To all People to who these presents shall come I Pardon BRIGGS of Cranston on the County of Providence in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, yeoman send greetings, Know ye, that I the said Pardon BRIGGS for and in Confideration of the sum of 90 Pounds lawful Silver money to me, in hand well and truly paid by Pardon ABBOT of Coventry in the county of Kent and State afore said yeoman the receipt were of I do here by acknowledge, Have remisied related and do by these presents for me my Heirs Executors and administrators remise relate and forever absolutely quit claim unto him the said Pardon ABBOTT his heirs and assigns forever all my Right Title property possession claim and interest that I now have in and to one certain piece of Land lying in Cranston containing by estimation 25 acres and is bounded as followeth Westerly on land of Christopher LIPPITT, and Northerly on land of Ephraim CONGDON and Peter BURLINGAME, Easterly on land of

Caleb POTTER and Caleb BURLINGAME, Southerly on land that was laid in pledge for a sum of money with John BURTON Esq. To have and hold to him the Pardon ABBOT his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever furthermore I the said Pardon BRIGGS for my self my heirs and assigns forever from all persons claiming interest therein or Title thereto ither for by thee or under me or my heirs or by means Title consent or drocurement.

In Witness wereof I the said Pardon BRIGGS have here unto lot my hand and seal this fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine 1789.
