Crompton Hose Company Plaque

Crompton Hose Company (1893)

A 2-story structure set gable end to the street, with two separate entrances and a garage door in front, a bell tower with an open belfry and weathervane at the left front, and a 1-story addition at the rear. The building, sited on the sidewalk, has been severely altered from its original appearance by lowering of the tower, removal of two arched doors and a Palladian window in the front, and the installation of aluminum siding.
