Centreville United Methodist Church (1902) A handsome shingled church building with a high, uncrushed stone foundation and a square, tapered, 2-story tower, which contains a hip, roofed hooded entry. The adjacent Mount Pleasant Cemetery is associated with the church.

A circuit minister held the first Methodist Episcopal services in Centreville in the early years of the 19th century. A building for the Methodist Episcopal Church and Proprietors Meeting House of Centreville, Rhode Island, was erected in 1831 on land given by Joseph Greene, A fire on February 9, 1902 destroyed the church, which was immediately replaced. The new structure was dedicated on June 6, 1903.
