The guest speaker at our meeting was Janine Burke, the Assistant Superintendent for Administration at the West Warwick
Watewater Treatment Plant. She gave an intersting history of the West Warwick sewer system from its development,
beginning in 1913 when the town seperated from Warwick. Although there was an urgent need for action at that time
discussion soon became enmeshed in politics. Janine used power point to present to us her documented findings as she took us through time.
It was most informative and judging from the large attendance the subject was of interest to many people.
