For the past year or so Rhode Island College Professor Paola FERRARIO along with students and Alumni Ben ADAMS, Jennifer JUTRAS and Mara TRACHTENBERG have spent many hours photographing the interior and exterior of the Royal Mill. They have come up with some striking shots of the devastation that has befallen this once bustling structure that for many years played an important part in the economy of the Valley. Their practiced eye has captured some remarkable shots that make for beautiful photos.

They will be presenting the results of their work at a gallery show at the Warwick Museum (in Apponaug) beginning February 1 through the 27th. On Sunday February 3rd, there will be an opening reception from 1 to 4 PM.

The students also produced a video of the history of the mill and it features our own historian, Donald CARPENTER.
