Our mission is "preserving the history of and promoting public
knowledge and interest in, yhe Pawtuxet Valley"
To achieve our mission
- we hold meetings Septmber to November and
January to May featuring speakers on topics of interest,
- we sell books about the Valley including the work of Ray Wolf and
an auto tour of the Valley,
- we maintain the Livsey Library, one of West Warwick's early
libraries, as a museum of Valley Memorabilia
- we sell a holiday ornament representing an historical site in the

Our speaker is Ray Wolf,
prolific local author who will speak on one of his new books:
A Bicycle Odyssey.
This book describes a 26 day 1678 mile bike trip
he and his son recently took.
The talk will be proceeded by a potluck supper at 6:00.
